Artificial Intelligence is rapidly changing and improving various sector operations like banking, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, database handling etc. but it has majorly impacted Education sector by giving advanced technologies not only to generate knowledge but also to share, grow and update it manifold. Education pattern is now gradually shifting to modes of distance and online platforms because physical presence for education is now comparatively costly, time taking and does not support multitasking approach. Now people are searching for alternatives to traditional and conventional ways of earning a degree without on-campus programs. Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and new tools and applications of education have enabled content scalability using widespread mobility, location based services and good network penetration.

AI based portals enable automated class scheduling, time table generation, notifications and class reminders, assignments submission, online exams, assessment and evaluation, proctoring, time based tasks and activities, thus saving a lot of time both for faculty and students which they otherwise dedicate in off-line modes. Lectures can be recorded, modified and animated using AI based tools which can be used for flipped classes so that weak students or slow learners can watch the sessions multiple times and be more prepared and confident while discussions in class. AI and ML enabled Learning Management Systems (LMS) combine audio, video and text for effective and crisp learning methodology. Long, routine, monotonous lectures can be replaced by small clips, videos and audio sessions. They also support multi-lingual approach, pattern and voice recognition, text summarization, syllabus review etc. which make them user friendly and highly accepted by faculty and student groups.

AI based tools and applications help students, faculty, administrators, researchers etc. to leverage disruption, virtual and augmented reality and lifelong learning process. It enables adaptive learning, customization, personalization, gamification etc. to change the learning pattern and indulge more in social learning and its open platforms. Even the degree patterns now can be restructured as per the student needs to enable one-on-one platform. New learning models are in practice now which have given flexibility in credits based education model.

E-learning and cloud platforms have provided easy access to e-books, tutorials, online handouts which have replaced paper-pen mode of education, thus promoting Save Paper and Go-Green Mission to Save Earth. Students now have more personalized experience, better resolution of their queries through chat bots, chat boards, messages in class channel which gives instant solutions of their problems as compared to asking the faculty again in physical classrooms. AI acts as a virtual tutor in answering maximum queries there and then saving a lot of time for more factual understanding of concepts rather than theoretical approach.

Costs of AI enabled E-learning resources are cheaper and help all communities, society sections and even underprivileged students to have equal right on education as Online education is accessible to everyone owing to the fact of deep penetration of smart phones and internet usage. So, AI algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, pattern recognition, social media analytics etc. have revolutionized learning experience by creating advanced, automated, and updated education tools for all to use. The opportunities that AI has given to education sector are significant. But there are various challenges also as how the new era is going to imbibe all these disruptions, how they will manage Emotional Quotient, Intelligence Quotient, Cognitive Quotient and Creative Quotient.

The solution is Human power + AI= New world of Education.
